Richard JohnSHACKELLSHACKELL, Richard John: of Tadwick near Bath. Died peacefully after his four-year battle with prostate cancer on 21st January 2025 at the Royal United Hospital, Bath.
Husband of the late Tina, father to Andrew and brother to Rosemary and Robert.
A farmer and freemason, also a keen shooter, fisherman and steam train enthusiast. A kind and gentle soul. He will be greatly missed by his son Andrew and dog Bruce, his many close friends and all those who knew him.
Funeral service to be held at Haycombe Crematorium (Valley Chapel) on Thursday 6th March at 1:00pm, followed by a wake to be held at Keynsham Masonic Hall.
No flowers please. Donations can be made instead to Cancer Research UK.
